Rescue and Squad Run 2 Alarm Townhouse Fire

On the above date, just after 2330hrs, the building fire assignment was dispatched to the unit block of Fresconi Court in Station 12's fire district for a shed fire with exposure to a building.  Squad 23 with a crew of 6 under the command of Captain Hamm, and Rescue 23 with a crew of 4 under the command of Assistant Chief Mills responded.  Units from station 12 arrived to find fire showing from the rear of a middle of the row townhome.  Squad 23 arrived as the 3rd due engine and assumed the Rapid Intervention Team responsibilities.  Rescue 23 arrived and was assigned by command to assist the units operating in the original fire building.  Shortly after Squad 23 was re-assigned to assist with fire suppression in the Delta Exposure.  Station 23 units operated for around 4 hours before being released by command.  The fire went to 2 alarms.
