Squad Goes to Another Fire

At 0048 hours on Monday, July 23, Engine Company 23 was alerted to respond the the Elms Apartment in the 900 block of Coventry Lane for a multi-residential fire. Squad 23 quickly responded, and while enroute New Castle County Fireboard advised units that they had been recieving multiple calls. Engine and Rescue Engine 12 arrived with fire showing from a three story apartment building. Squad 23 arrived and operated as the second due engine company for approximately two hours.
