Marine Rescue Unit 23 Runs Ice Rescue

At 1424 hours on Friday, January 18, the ice rescue assignment was dispatched to the 3700 block of Limestone Road for a male through the ice into the pond. MRU23 marked up immediately with four technicians, followed by Deputy 23, and Utility 23. Crews from 14, 23, 21, and 19 worked quickly to remove the victim from the water.
