MVC with Hazmat for Company 23

On the above date around 0830hrs, Station 23 along with Stations 3,6, and 12 responded to Interstate 95 in the area of the Churchman's Marsh for an MVC.  Rescue Engine 23 under the command of Captain Johnson and Ambulance 23 quickly responded. Units arrived to find a 5 Vehicle MVC one of which being a tanker truck leaking racing fuel.  Command Requested Hazmat 30 to respond.  Hazmat 30 and units from DNREC responded and worked to mitigate the leaking trailer, and RE23 provided suppression coverage.  Units operated for around 4 hours before clearing the scene.  

While responding to the first incident, Stations 23, and 3,6, and 12 were alerted to another MVC on the Norhtbound side of the Highway.  Units from 12 handled this incident where there was no injuries.
