On the above date just before 0730hrs, Station 23 was alerted for an Engine and Rescue to assist Mill Creek (21) on a residential fire with reported subjects trapped. Rescue Engine 236 with 5 personnel under the command of Captain Mills, and Rescue 23 with 6 personnel under the command of Lieutenant Moorhead quickly responded. Fire Chief 21 arrived to find a single story single family dwelling with smoke showing. Upon arrival, 23 units were assigned to open up for the first due engine. Both trapped subjects self extricated prior to the arrival of fire department personnel. Station 23 units operated for just under two hours before clearing the scene and handling an assist EMS in the first due.
