Engine Runs 12 Apartment Fire

On the above date, at around 0830 hours, Station 23 was alerted for an Engine to assist Stations 3, 6, and 12 on a reported Apartment building fire (Fire Alarm with Smoke in the Building) .  Engine 235 with a crew of 6 under the command of Captain Mills quickly responded.  Engine and Ladder 12 arrived and found nothing evident from the exterior, but upon further investigation found an apartment on fire on the ground floor.  Engine 235 arrived shortly after, secured Engine 12's water supply and stretched a back up line to the apartment above to check for extension.  There was no extension, and searches of the apartments on all 3 floors were clear.  Engine 235 operated for around an hour before clearing the scene.
