On the above date around 1900 hours, Station 23 was alerted for the Rescue to assist Stations 3, 6, and 12 (Christiana) for a House Fire. Engine 23-5 responded with a crew of 4 under the command of FF/EMT Keefer and Rescue 23 responded with a crew of 4 under the command of Lieutenant Moorhead. Command 12 arrived to find a 2 story single family dwelling with smoke showing which upgraded the box assignment to a "working fire". The Engine and Rescue arrived on scene simultaneously as the 3rd due engine and 2nd due special service. The crews went to work by throwing multiple ground ladders, assisting with searches, and overhaul. The crews operated for about 1 hour before clearing.
