Engine Co. Runs 2nd Alarm in Newark

On the above date around 1645 hours, Engine 23 was alerted with multiple other companies to assist Stations 7, 8, 9, and 10 (Aetna of Newark) for a 2nd Alarm building fire in the Autumn Park Apartment complex. Engine 23-5 responded quickly with a crew of 4 under FF B. Hamm. Engine 23 arrived first out of the 2nd alarm units and was assigned to be the R.I.T (Rapid Intervention Team). The crew operated for about 2 hours before clearing.
