Engine Co. Handles an Outside Fire.

On the above date at around 2030 hours, Company 23 was alerted for an outside fire at the Richey Elementary School in the Town of Newport. Rescue Engine 23-6 responded with 4 personnel under the command of Lieutenant Moorhead. On arrival the crew found a small brush fire in the rear of the school and extinguished the same. 23-6 cleared within 15 minutes.
