Squad 23 Runs a 30 House Fire

On the above date, around just after 0715hrs, Station 23 was alerted to assist Station 30 (Belvedere) on a Residential Fire in the Cedar Heights section of their first due.  Squad 23 responded with a crew of 5 under the command of Chief Dierolf.  Fire Chief 30 arrived to find "smoke showing".  Squad 23 arrived, split laid from the corner and stretched a 1 3/4" attack line.  Crews found a bedroom on fire on the second floor and quickly extinguished it.  Squad 23 operated for around 2 hours before clearing the scene.
