Rescue and Engine Run 21 Box With Entrapment.

On the above date around 1330 hrs, Station 23 and other mutual aid companies were alerted to assist Station 21 (Mill Creek) for a reported Apartment on fire in the Creeks at Marshallton apartment complex. Rescue 23 responded within a minute of dispatch with a crew of 4 (Lieutenant Mahoney). Shortly after dispatch, NCC fire board advised responding units that they were receiving reports of victims trapped in the apartment. Engine 14 (Cranston Heights) and Engine 21 arrived and removed multiple victims from the 2nd floor windows. Rescue 23 arrived as the 1st due special service and preformed a primary search of the fire building. After completing the searches with negative results, the rescues crew assisted with overhaul and ventilation. Engine 23 responded with a crew of 3 (Fire Chief Dierolf) and arrived as the 4th due Engine. The Engines crew assisted with overhaul and fire suppression. Units operated for about 1 hour.
