On the above date, just before 2100hrs, Squad and Rescue 23 responded to assist station 18 on a reported house on fire. Engine 18 arrived and reported "smoke showing" from a single story single family dwelling. Squad 23 arrived as the second engine, secured Engine 18's supply line and stretched a back up line to assist with extinguishing the fire. Rescue 23 arrived as the second due special service and assisted with searches in the residence and checking for fire extension. Rescue 23's crew removed one dog out of the residnece and reunited it with the homeowners. Station 23 units operated for a little over an hour before being cleared by command.
