Rescue and Ambulance Respond to Fatal Shooting

On Wednesday, May 24, our members gethered on station for the weekly seven-area duty crew. Throughout the overnight hours Station 23 personnel responded to three motor vehicle collisions, and a water rescue. At approximately 0200 hours, Rescue and Ambulance 23 responded to Kiamensi Road in the area of Rothwell Drive for the report of a possible MVC. Upon the arrival of PD, the response was changed to a possible shooting. Rescue 23 provided lighting for the investigating agencies, and was held onscene for approximately 3 hours.
