Rescue Runs 21 Apartment Fire

At 1317 hours on Friday, June 29, Rescue 23 (Dierolf) responded to the Heritage Court Apartments in the 5500 block of Heritage Court Drive for the report of fire in an apartment. While the Rescue was enroute Ladder 21-7 arrived with a working fire on the basement level. The fire was quickly knocked, and contained to the kitchen area. Upon arrival of the Rescue the crew assisted with overhaul and ventilation. All units cleared in approximately one hour.
