Squad 23 Runs as Second Engine on 12 House

At 1328 hours on Saturday, July 22, Squad 23 (Mills) was dispatched to 702 Birchwood Drive in Birchwood Park for the report of a house on fire. Engine and Rescue Engine 12 arrived and reported a one story single family dwelling with fire showing. Squad 23 arrived, assumed, and acted as the second Engine Company on the box, operating a back-up handline to assist 12 units with quickly extinguishing all fire. The Squad returned to quarters approximately two hours after initial dispatch.
