Rescue Runs Entrapment in the First Due

At 2012 hours on Monday, October 8, units were alerted to Route 141 Southbound at Old Airport Road for an MVC with multiple injuries and entrapment . Fire Chief Dierolf arrived first, to find four injured victims and one trapped. Ambulance and Rescue 23 arrived next, the Rescue crew split immediately, providing stabilization and removing one door. The entrapped victim was extricated in approximately five minutes, and units returned to quarters within an hour.
