Engine 23 Attends Live Burn Training in West Chester

For approximately 4 hours on Tuesday, November 6, Engine 23, with a staffing of six, participated in a live fire excerise at the West Chester Fire Department Training Center. The Engine crew worked along with members of Station 16 to train on various scenarios, including first and second floor fires in a "residential" burn building. Members worked on improving hoseline advancement, search, and fire attack skills before returning to Newport. Thank you to Elsmere Fire Company for the invite! Throughout the day Station 23 also handled six calls for service.
