Squad 23 Runs 12 Propane Fire

At approximately 1300 hours on Friday, January 4, Squad 23 was alerted as part of the structure fire assignment to the 100 block of Lenni Court for the report of a propane tank on fire with exposures. The Squad arrived first to find a 500 gallon underground propane tank, with fire from the stem. The crew, along with Engine 12’s, stretched two lines as a precaution until the situation could be placed under control. Units operated for approximately 2 hours before clearing.
