On Tuesday 01/15/2019 just after 0900hrs, Station 23 was alerted for an Engine to assist Station 21 on a reported commercial structure fire in the 700 Block of Stanton Christiana Road.  Ladder 21-7 arrived and reported smoke showing from the roof of a commercial structure.  Squad 23 arrived, laid a supply line and stretched an attack line to begin fire suppression.  Shortly after, units were ordered out of the structure and a defensive attack began.  Squad 23 pumped multiple attack lines and master streams for several hours.  Engine 23 arrived as the 4th engine and pumped the secondary hydrant.  Station 23 units operated for around 5 hours before being released from the scene.  The fire went to two alarms.
