Engine 23 Runs 22 House, Reported With People Trapped

At 1652 hours, on Tuesday, January 22, the 2210 box was dropped for the report of a fire in the kitchen, with one subject trapped. Engine 23 was staffed in quarters and quickly responded with four. The Engine arrived fourth due, and the crew assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. The subject reported trapped was removed by PD prior to the fire department arrival. The Engine operated for approximately one hour before returning to Newport.
