On Sunday May 26, 2019 just before 1900hrs, Station 23 was alerted to assist Station 17 on a residential fire. Initial arriving units reported smoke showing and a fire in the attic. Squad 23 arrived as the third due engine secured a second supply line and went to work assisting with fire suppression. Crews found a fire in the attic and quickly worked to extinguish same. Squad 23 operated for around an hour before being released by command.
