On Sunday 06/02/2019 just after 0300hrs, Station 23 was alerted to assist Newark on a townhome fire in the 400 block of Tree of Heaven Way. Communications began receiving reports of several houses on fire. Deputy 9 (Newark) arrived and reported fire in three houses, with one on the ground. Squad 23 arrived as the third due engine, secured a second water supply, and stretched a back up line to assist with fire suppression. Squad 23 operated for around 3 hours before being released by command.
