The Rescue Engine Handles Car Crash.

On the above date at around 1300 hours, Station 23 was alerted for a MVC with injuries at the intersection of East Newport Pike and Latimer St. Fire Chief J. Dierolf and Rescue Engine 23-6 responded with a crew of 4 under the command of FF B. Hamm. On arrival the crew assisted with patient care and debris clean up. Ambulance 23 and Ambulance 17 (Five Points) transported 2 patients and the scene was turned over to Delaware State Police.
