Mobile Home Trailer and Garage Fire for Company 23

On the above date, around 1900hrs, Station 23 was alerted for an Engine and Rescue to assist Stations 3, 6, and 12 (Christiana) with multiple trailers on fire in the Glasgow Trailer Court.  Engine 235 with a crew of 4 under the command of Fire Chief Dierolf, and Rescue 23 with a crew of 5 under the command of Asst. Chief Harvey Jr. quickly responded.  First arriving crews found several trailers on fire on different streets.  Rescue and Engine 23 arrived and stood by. Engine 23 cleared after around an hour, and Rescue 23 stoodby for around 2 hours before being cleared by command.

While the Rescue and Engine were operating at the mobile home fire, Delaware County Engine 17 was alerted to cover Fire Station 23.  Just before 2130hrs the company along with Engines 30, 21, and 16 were alerted for  a Garage Fire in the Glen Burnie section of our first due.  Fire Chief 23 (Dierolf) arrived and found smoke showing from a detached garage.  Delco Engine 17 arrived as the first engine and placed a line in service.  crews operated for around one hour before clearing the scene.
