Rescue 23 Runs Close Call in 21 Local

At 0153 hours on Wednesday, November 7, Rescue 23 was alerted as part of the extinguished structure fire assignment to the Farrand Village Apartments in 21's first due. Rescue 23 responded quickly with six, and arrived as the first due special service. Engine 14 arrived as the first due engine and located a laundry basket on fire in the bedroom of an apartment, that was quickly extinguished via water can. A quick response held a potential working fire to a much smaller scenario, units cleared within an hour.
