At 2119 hours on Monday, January 21, Engine 23 was alerted to the 4500 block of Roslyn Drive for the report of a room on fire within a residential structure. The Engine responded immediately with five and arrived seconds behind 14 and 21 units, to find fire showing from the charlie side. The crew was originally assigned the RIT role but was quickly re-assigned to operate the secondary attack line. Crew made a quick stop on the fire, holding it to two rooms and part of the attic space. Engine Company 23 returned to quarters in approximately one hour.
