Engine 23 Runs Two Fires in Three Hours

At approximately 2245 hours on Monday, February 4, Engine Company 23 was staging at a hazmat box in the 12 local, when they were diverted to a fire alarm covering for Christiana. While enroute, Fireboard re-directed the Engine to the Hares Corner Burger King for the report of fire from the roof. The Engine arrived first due, and placed two lines inservice, finding fire running the ventilation system and roof area. The fire was quickly knocked, and units cleared within the hour. 

Just after 0100 hours on Tuesday, February 5, the Engine turned out as a replacement for a residential fire in 13's area. Engine 23 arrived as the fourth due engine company and assisted with opening up before being assigned the RIT role. The Engine cleared the scene approximately two hours after dispatch.
